Morgan's Nature Walks - Bird Ringing


Bird ringing is a scientific study of the migration and population growth of birds. For bird lovers and watchers this is a chance to see these beauties up close.

All the explanations are made by a qualified bird ringer of the ICNF (Institute of the Conservation of Nature and Forests), person responsible for the Constant Effort Station No. 11 of the Local Protected Landscape of Fonte Benémola.

Specific Conditions

Difficulty:
- Low, available for everyone, the trail is short and accessible via a dirt track.
Necessary Equipment:
- Hat or Cap;
- Water;
- Comfortable boots and clothes for walking.
Note:
- Groups with a minimum of 2 Persons and a maximum of 20 Persons.

The activity is available almost all year round on Saturday mornings, however the ideal time for this activity is between April and June.
