Morgan’s Nature Walks presents a guided tour for adventurers and for who isn’t scared of long upward slopes. The beginning of this trail crosses many times the Arade Stream that has water almost all year round and contains stream side vegetation connected to a faunistic richness.
The built heritage connected to agriculture is dominant, such as norias, weirs, water channels and water mills, etc. Malhão is one of the highest points in the Serra do Caldeirão, it offers a unique sites presenting a view as far as the sea on the horizon. The climb to Malhão is long but at the same time rewarding.
This trail can be performed all year, however it is not advisable during the hottest part of summer, except early in the morning. We have guided tours in the morning and afternoon.
